Introduction:
It is the Turkic name of desert
meaning red sand and in Uzbek it is known as Qyzylqum. It is the 16th largest
desert in the world the whole desert is present is in Uzbekistan
and Kazakhstan. The desert is located between two rivers Amu Darya
and Syr Darya which is also the major river of Uzbekistan which are also
responsible for little bit greenery in this desert. The Area of this desert
is 298,000 km square which is partly divided into Kazakhstan,
Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Geography:
Kyzyl Kum deserts mainly part
consists of plain and it is about 300 meters above from the sea level. There
are few up and downs not only the plain there is also some height places like
Sultanuizdag and Bukantau. Most of the desert is covered with sand but the
North West large part is covered with clay coatings. There are also some oases
on which some sort of crops are also cultivated land are somehow able for
cultivation due to river. If you talk about temperature in summer it going to
very high temperature which is unbearable for both human and animals. The
recorded higher temperature is 51.7 °C.

desert you must know the charm to visit kyzyl kum. You can find the Argali which
is type of sheep, roe deer and wolves you can plan for hunting but after
getting permission from government. The other thing you can do in Desert is
from start you find campsite of Yurt which is local and old traditional way of
living you can stay in Yurts with 20-25 peoples. If you have Yurts in round you
can plan for a born fire at night which is very unique and easier
entertainment. There are some musicians near the desert who can play exotic
music concert in night you may plan gathering with them and i am sure it going
to be memorable night for your trip.
There are some oases in the
deserts which are created naturally due to availability of water from river.
Those oases are having some production due to fertility of land on that oasis
there are also other living things on those oasis. In Kyzyl kum there is one of
the largest oases in the central Asia which is oval shaped due to covered by
the river, so the traveler can take rest and stay on that oasis for while.
